We’re excited to announce an exciting new partnership for Philanthropitch this year! In addition to $100,000+ in cash awards to be presented at Philanthropitch on Monday, April 28th 5:30-8 pm, 4-6 of the finalists will also be selected to participate in the new Greenlights and Innovation+ Accelerator, a consulting, training and mentorship program designed to fast-track organizational growth and impact.

Ready to grow your impact through a specific program or service?

Are you ready to significantly grow one of your programs or services, but you just need an infusion of financial and human capital to fuel your growth? The Accelerator provides coaching, peer learning, networking and consulting to nonprofits that are ready to dramatically accelerate a program or service.

The Accelerator program is designed to advance the growth and impact of an organization by connecting experienced business and nonprofit experts with your nonprofit’s leadership team to create or refine a business growth plan. This investor-ready plan will be used to solicit capital – both from Accelerator partners and the broader philanthropic community.

How are participants selected?

Successful applicants will have an established strategic plan, a solid leadership team, and meet other key criteria. Most importantly, though, the organization will have established a clear vision and initial plan for significantly growing an element of their programs and services.

After a competitive application process, finalist organizations will present their case at Philanthropitch on April 28. Prior to this pitch event, semi-finalists will participate in a workshop to receive expert coaching on their pitch.

On April 28, each finalist will have 3-5 minutes to present their case to a panel of judges and audience members for funding. After the presentations, a variety of cash awards will be presented, totaling $100,000+, and we’ll announce the 2014 Accelerator participants.

See the selection criteria and calendar of activities for additional details and timelines.

A Q&A session for interested applicants will be held on March 6th at Blackbaud. It is highly encouraged that a representative from interested organizations attend this workshop. Please register below if you plan to attend!
