Inaugural Philanthropitch Philadelphia Donates $87,000

Philanthropitch Philadelphia, presented by Social Venture Partners Philadelphia, hosted the inaugural event in a new virtual format. In the true spirit of innovation, we pivoted by hosting each pitch virtually with a week-long voting period which engaged over 400 individual donors. It was a joyous event bringing together the seven nonprofit finalists, sponsors, funders, and supporters in the Philadelphia community. Throughout the five-day voting period, 2,757 users visited the event page and a total of $87,490 was donated to seven Philadelphia organizations to assist the growth of their innovative programs. We want to give a big thank you to the Philadelphia community for being so welcoming and making the first year a success!
