The Arc of the Capital Area is committed to empowering Central Texans with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families through compassionate case management and innovative programs. Since 1949, they have run programming focused on the healing power of the arts, amongst other therapies and offerings.
Jail to Jobs empowers youthful offenders to find purpose, personal growth, and achievement. Through multiple programs, they support the physical needs, character development, workforce development, emotional needs, and spiritual development of those they serve.
Keep Austin Fed is reducing hunger and helping the environment by connecting surplus food with our neighbors in need. Keep Austin Fed is a champion for our neighbors experiencing food insecurity. They serve the community through the redistribution of wholesome, nutritious food at multiple locations around Austin.
Level applies the power of education to break the destructive cycle of the American criminal justice system. They offer educational job training and personal development services for people in prison to convert otherwise wasted years of incarceration into an opportunity to prepare for a brighter, stronger future. Level is the only national provider of free job training and educational content for people in prison, providing a critical lifeline to incarcerated people across the country.
Second Day is addressing the social impact talent gap by fixing the broken pipeline between young, diverse, and mission-driven talent and social impact employers. Second Day vets talent, connects with employers, provides professional development, and places people in paid internship positions.
We look forward to seeing you at Philanthropitch Austin 2023 when these 5 incredible nonprofits pitch their innovative models. Thanks to our Presenting Sponsor Justworks.
